Excerpts from the participation of the Jordan Climate Action Network (CAN) in “Change Day 2026,” launched by the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), where our participation aimed to highlight the interconnection between climate change, human safety, and community preparedness.
Under the theme “From Warning to Protection,” through our “Climate Alert” initiative, we pledged to strengthen awareness and preparedness for climate risks that may affect the safety of patients with non-communicable diseases, and to translate climate information and early warnings into simplified, actionable protective messages and measures — contributing to the protection of the most vulnerable groups and supporting the continuity of safe healthcare.
