CAN Jordan announces, as part of the JAAHIZ project led by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), with support from the British Government, in partnership with the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan represented by the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and in cooperation with the project’s partners and the UK Met Office — CAN Jordan in Irbid and Ramtha, within the framework of the Climate and Refugees Interconnected initiative — is opening the door for applications to join a specialized training program in capacity building aimed at strengthening community resilience and economic resilience in Ramtha.
The program also aims to enhance the economic and social resilience of the local community, and to increase financial literacy and awareness in household financial decision-making.
