Program Goal
Establishment of a relationship of mutual collaboration between the University of Brescia–CeTAmb, CAN and Sipec to promote projects for greywater treatment within urban settings in Jordan
Program Activities
- A detailed analysis of the suitability of Nature-based Solutions for greywater treatment has been investigated as a living lab in Abdullah Al-Azab Mosque, Az-zarqa in Jordan.
- A horizontal flow constructed wetland (HFCW) was innovatively designed and implemented using local materials and expertise.
- Four months of operation, monitoring, and evaluation have been done, followed by publishing a scientific paper.
- Building capacity of and raising awareness activities that targeted about 1100 local citizen.
