Hamzh Odeh Ahmad Abu Saleek is an accomplished environmental engineer with extensive experience in sustainable development, environmental management, and climate resilience. Over the years, he has successfully led numerous projects focused on mitigating climate change and fostering sustainability, showcasing strong expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy alignment.
Currently serving as a Projects Engineer at a Climate Action Network in Amman, Hamzh plays a pivotal role in managing climate-related projects. His work involves fostering cross-departmental collaboration, building partnerships with government entities, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. He has also overseen the design and implementation of greywater treatment systems while regularly reporting project outcomes to senior management and external partners.
Previously, Hamzah served as a Lab Supervisor at Zarqa University, where he led extensive research and testing on greywater treatment technologies. His contributions included supervising tests on construction materials and ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards.
Earlier in his career, Hamzah worked as a Site and Design Engineer at Albalawi Office, where he was responsible for monitoring construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and codes, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Hamzah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Hashemite University, Jordan, with a graduation rating of “Very Good” and an “Excellent” evaluation for his graduation project on structural analysis and design.
Dedicated to continuous learning and professional development, Hamzah has earned several certifications in areas such as proposal writing, human resource management, and quantity surveying. His technical expertise includes the use of advanced engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, and Primavera.
