The project is designed to address key water issues faced by Jordan: water scarcity; low levels of wastewater treatment; and increased water stress levels on available resources.
Program Activities
Upscaling systems in order to increase the amount of water reuse, increase the agriculture and food production and widen the community raising awareness, and building capacity activities.
Implement systems with modification at the household level and reuse the greywater in the households
Testing and implementing modified systems that meet all the reuse standards especially the toilet flushing
Providing a business model in order to reuse the treated greywater for generating income (e.g., irrigating and selling local herbs)
Integrating solar panels and renewable energy with the treatment systems
