The Climate Action Network Jordan organized four awareness lectures in several local institutions in Jabal Al-Nasr in the capital Amman, as part of the “Sameem” project, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by “Labas”, with technical support from “Boules”, and in cooperation with “Ecodev”, “Bidaya”, “TCSE”, the Jordanian Youth Innovation Forum, and many other partners. 🌍 Al-Manara Association for Social Development and Al-Malha Charitable Society in Jabal Al-Nasr, Jordan for Youth Innovation, and many other partners.
As part of our efforts to enhance environmental awareness, two distinguished lectures were organized on Tuesday 12/3/2024 at Maimouna Umm Al-Mu’minin Secondary School for Girls and Al-Nasr Comprehensive Vocational School, and two lectures on Monday 12/3/2024 at Al-Manara Association for Social Development and Al-Malha Charitable Society.
The lectures addressed important topics such as climate change, environmental sustainability, planting green roofs, and recycling, in addition to discussions on the importance of protecting the environment and reducing the effects of climate change.
The lecture aimed to introduce the local community in Jabal Al-Nasr to the importance of sound environmental practices, work to change behaviors that are harmful to the environment, and motivate them to contribute to building a sustainable future. 💚 Together towards a better environment and a more sustainable future! 🌱
