Climate Action Network jordan participated in the third regional meeting of the SAMIM Project in Tunisia for one week, which included a series of activities aimed at strengthening climate action and sustainable development.
On the first day, participants visited the training farm in Tunisia, where they explored sustainable farming techniques, including a jam production facility and hydroponic farming. A workshop on the circular economy was also held, covering its key concepts and principles.
The second day included a workshop on advocacy and awareness campaigns, where participants learned how to launch effective awareness campaigns. Another session gathered feedback from organizations about the technical and financial challenges they face.
The third day focused on sustainable development, discussing solutions for building sustainable cities. A session was also dedicated to feedback on the intensive training sessions conducted in the region and exploring ways to enhance cooperation between civil society organizations and governments.
The conference was attended by organizations from Tunisia, Morocco, and Mauritania, providing a valuable opportunity for experience sharing and deepening regional cooperation.
