Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination and management within national or international non-governmental organizations (NGOs/INGOs), preferably within climate change–related contexts.
Proven experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Nature-based Solutions (NbS), including:
- Assessment and implementation of nature-based solutions.
- Community resilience building and strengthening programs.
- Disaster preparedness and response activities.
- Working with and analyzing GIS maps.
Strong experience in field-based work and direct engagement with local communities and relevant stakeholders.
Advanced skills in preparing technical and administrative reports.
Ability to coordinate with local and international partners and ensure the implementation of activities in line with approved work plans, timelines, and technical standards.
Good team management skills and the ability to coordinate between different project components.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including report writing and presentations.
Strong communication skills in Arabic, with a preference for proficiency in English (written and spoken).
