Ayman Sharafat is a scholar and environmental advocate with a Ph.D. in American Studies from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary. His research focuses on social diversity, political discourse, and media influence in the United States. He also holds an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Jordan and dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and English Literature from Al-albayt University in Jordan.

With extensive experience in academia, research, and international collaboration, Ayman has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from U.S. foreign policy and media studies to social movements and language rights. He has presented his work at international conferences across Europe and the Middle East.

Currently serving as the Director of Climate Action Now (CAN) in Jordan, Ayman leads initiatives on climate change adaptation, sustainability policies, and environmental advocacy. His role involves strategic planning, policy research, and fostering partnerships between governmental bodies, businesses, and civil society organizations.

Previously, he was a lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University, teaching courses on American politics, media, and history. He also worked with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan, focusing on international aid coordination and U.S.-Jordan relations. His professional experience includes roles with UNHCR, where he supported refugee integration, and the Ministry of Education, where he contributed to language education.

Ayman has been awarded prestigious scholarships and grants, including funding from the Tempus Foundation and the Hungarian government. He is a Salzburg Seminar fellow and has played a key role in organizing international conferences on social media and political discourse.

Fluent in Arabic and English, he holds certifications in IELTS, ICDL, R programming, and project management. He is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Studies Association, the European Association for American Studies, and the Jordanian Political Science Association.
