As part of the closing events for the SAMIM Program / Green Roofs Project:
Representatives from the project’s supporting body for the SAMIM / Green Roofs project were received at the headquarters of the Climate Action Network Jordan (CAN Jordan) to showcase all project outputs and the achievements of CAN Jordan across all its projects.
This was followed by a field tour of the implemented green roofs in the Jabal Al-Nasser area of Amman.
We are delighted to be part of this inspiring environmental achievement that contributes to improving the quality of life and realizing sustainable development.
Special thanks to the supporting entities: The French Development Agency (AFD), Lab’ess, Jordan Youth Innovation Forum, Pulse Group, Ecodev, TCSE, and Bidaya, for their support that turned this achievement from an idea into a reality, and to all the “green hands” who worked diligently to revitalize these green spaces atop Amman’s roofs.
